Product Description

The idea behind this game is that each of the players has a chance to be soloist and play the faster notes. That player then then goes back quietly into the slow-note chords and allows another to shine as soloist. Depending upon the musical ability of each player, the solo parts can also be used as a basis for brief improvisations (if only trills), which will, of course depend on him/her listening to the surrounding chord. I have marked the solo parts as louder than the surrounding chord, but this will - I hope - come naturally, as each player will want a turn to shine. The end beomes a bit fraught as the first part tries to take control but everyone wants to be a soloist ... an argument ensues ... and finally the group goes back to the sharing motif. The sound sample is an electronic preview. The pdf file contains score and parts.
