Product Description

Süsser die Glocken nie klingen for SATB choir Arrangement of the traditional German carol about sweet bells at Christmas (The bells never sound sweeter than when they ring at Christmas), for a cappella choir, with the various voices representing bells at various points and a cheeky English cadence at the end. The words are by Friedrich Wilhelm Kritzinger (1816-1890) and the melody is from a Thuringian folk song (Seht, wie die Sonne dort sinket) The pdf file contains a version in F and a version in E-flat (for SATB choirs with lower sopranos) The sound sample (sung by the arranger) is the men's voices version (ATTB) in D major (which is available separately here) A video of this performance can also be see on youtube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ivNe0nxlDtU
