It is a challenging piece to because of the constant hypnotic motion, but pays off with a nice climax in the middle. Would be a nice recital piece for the advanced intermediate to advanced student. James Michael Stevens is a prolific composer residing in Nashville, TN where he serves as the Music Department Chairman of Welch College.
