Product Description

This beloved Irish folk melody is arranged as a VIOLIN duet with PIANO accompaniment. Beginning in the key of F major, VIOLIN 2 plays the first phrase followed by VIOLIN 1 on the second phrase, then both playing for the ending of the first verse. Verse 2 transitions into a bolder harmony then broadens into the key of G major for a third verse.

The ranges are as follows: VIOLIN 1 ~ C4 to G5; VIOLIN 2 ~ A3 to E5. For the violin, all notes for both parts can be played in first position making this an excellent selection for beginning string players. Duration 2:30. The purchase price includes the 7 page combined score plus a 2 page score for each part and a separate 4 page score with piano accompaniment only.

This arrangement is one of the 10 songs in the collection "Praise Him with Stringed Instruments, Book 2 (Collection of 10 Hymns for Violin Duet with Piano)."
