The lyrics for this song were inspired by the promises found in Matthew 24:27 and Revelation 1:7. The encouraging words of Jesus' soon return paired with the upbeat tune will bring hope and joy to the listeners: "Jesus is coming soon I know. He's coming with the angels, hear the trumpet blow! As lightning flashes from the east to the west, so will be His coming. That day will be the best! . . . "
 
Though arranged as a vocal solo with straight-forward piano accompaniment (guitar chords included), this piece is also an excellent choice for a children's choir with the children singing unison. Purchase price includes the 3-staff score with melody line and piano accompaniment (3 pages) plus a separate score with melody line only for the soloist or choir (1 page). Set in the key of G major, the vocal range is from the D above middle C to the B above (D4-B4).
