Kris Bowers wrote the soundtrack for Bridgerton. The recording was done remotely by just 8 orchestra musicians. It proves, as many musicians have during the pandemic, that you don't have to be in the same room to make great music with others - the process is just a little weird.
The Latest Whistledown is a lively piece that is quite a delight. This arrangement is a bit beefier than the original recording, as it makes no sense to me to have musicians just sitting there with nothing to play while the others may think they have too many notes. This piece also includes a key change that the original does not have, because it helps lengthen the delight a little more.
