Product Description
There are many horror movies and TV series about monsters and people surviving the apocalypse. The Walking Dead is one of the most popular TV series in modern times. The main title music is a repetitive series of notes that is full of tension and sets the listener up for a bumpy ride. Ten years after its pilot episode, The Walking Dead is still going strong.
This arrangement of the main title of the show is 2 minutes long, which is twice as long as the original. It has 2 key changes that the original does not have, which I added to create more tension and interest.
At rehearsal marks C and E, there are pitch bends that are meant to be played on the last beat of the held note.
The piece ends on a mood busting minor chord, which could leave your audience with a feeling of doom and gloom, so I would suggest you not end your performance with this. ;)
Scored for 3 oboes, English horn, bassoon, and contrabassoon. If your choir does not have a contrabassoon, it can be substituted by another bassoon.
I hope you, your group, and your audience will enjoy this creepy piece.
