This fugue is the 6th fugue in Bach's Well-Tempered Clavier Book 1, which was written for the piano, and consists of 2 sets of 24 Preludes and Fugues.

The original piece was written for 3 voices. Since the lower voice isn't difficult, the viola and cello are doubling throughout most of the piece. That said, this piece can be played as a trio, with either the viola or cello part missing.

This would be a great piece to add to your repertoire.
