Product Description

Mozart's 5 Divertimenti K439b, originally written for 3 basset horns, have been arranged for many combinations of instruments.
 I have arranged this one (Divertimento No.1) for three (French) Horns in F . I have transcribed the parts into concert pitch F so the horns are playing in C, in order to fit all the parts into a comfortable range.
 I have taken some liberties in the 3rd part, transposing up an octave where necessary, but avoiding any "clash" with the two upper instruments. There is an overlap sometimes where 3rd is playing higher than 2nd, but the harmonies are still fine.
 
I feel it works well as a horn trio.
It reminds me of some of the Reicha horn trios.
