As a child I loved hearing my older sister play this piece from the Bastien Piano Literature Collection, Vol. 3 (and she liked playing it too, apparently!). This piece should be played more!

This edition includes all hand positions and finger numbers, so that students can play this piece, and spend less time trying to figure out "how" to play it. There will only be time to develop student's problem solving ability if they stick with piano lessons, and if we let them flounder, that won't happen. So... keep student's in the activity by helping them play music at the piano, and then use that positive relationship to help them work on their problem solving, consistency, discipline, etc.
