-Optional descant (high) harmony for the Bridge of this song, in case you (like my wife and I) are performing this with a mix of high and low voices. Note that PENTATONIX male lead sings the bridge in range comfortable for baritone or alto, rather than an octave higher, which would be OK for high voices (tenor/soprano), but too high for low voices (baritone/alto).
And following PENTATONIX example,for DUET Vocal performance, singers could divide up the verses, and join together on the bridge, using the included descant harmony.
Kathy Mattea's original recording in F# minor is great for her, but is too high or low for most singers.
Other transpositions also create as many problems as they solve.
