J.S. Bach's Trio Sonata No. 4 in E minor, BWV 528, is one of the six trio sonatas for organ composed around 1727-1730. Here are some key points about this work: Structure and Movements It is a three-movement work written for two manuals (keyboards) and an organ pedal, following the typical slow-fast-slow pattern. The movements are Adagio - Vivace, Andante, Un poco allegro. The opening Adagio-Vivace movement is a transcription of the sinfonia from Bach's Cantata No. 76 "Die Himmel erzählen die Ehre Gottes".
