J. S. Bach, (1685-1750) a prominent organist in his time, was an extremely prolific composer of many works. This sarabande is from his Suite in E Minor, BWV 810. It is an intermediate baroque duo for two celli. Ideal for intermediate students, adult amateurs and professionals. This piece is mostly in first position, but there are some rhythmic challenges, and some simple turns.
