This Christmas Pastorale is a setting of two Provençal carols: Venez, Bergers and Un Flambeau, Jeanette, Isabelle, both of which date from around the 16th century. The two themes are first presented seperately and then combined to form a unique texture. The three percussion insturments may be placed in different positions in order to underline the conterpoint between the three parts. This item is the full score only. The complete woodwind parts and the complete brass and percussion parts are available as two seperate items. The individual parts are also available as single items.
