Pie Jesu is the most well-known movement of Gabriel Faure's intimate and beautiful Requiem in D minor. The Requiem was originally scored for organ, orchestra, mixed chorus and two soloists. This string quartet version of Pie Jesu preserves all the melodies and stunning harmonies of the original.
