Product Description

"Seventy-Six Trombones" is the signature song from the 1957 musical play The Music Man (1957), written by Meredith Willson. The piece is also commonly played by marching and military bands.

Leroy Anderson wrote a popular arrangement of the piece integrating other popular marches, including Stars and Stripes Forever and The Washington Post March by John Philip Sousa, the National Emblem march by Edwin Eugene Bagley, the Swedish march "Under blÃ¥gul fana" ("Under the Blue and Yellow Flag") by Viktor Widqvist, and the Second Regiment, Connecticut National Guard march by D. W. Reeves.

This arrangement for sax choir includes the following parts: Eb Sopranino, Bb Soprano 1-2, Eb Alto 1-2-3, Bb Tenor 1-2-3, Eb Baritone 1-2, Bb Bass. It is suitable for repertoire, classroom and recital.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
