L'Arlésienne Suite No. 1 opens with a strong, energetic theme, which is based on the Epiphany carol "March of the Kings" (this tune had also been used two centuries earlier in Jean-Baptiste Lully's Marche de Turenne).

This arrangement for sax choir (Eb Sopranino, Bb Soprano 1-2, Eb Alto 1-2-3, Bb Tenor 1-2-3, Eb Baritone 1-2, Bb Bass) includes the Ouverture, the first movement of the suite.
