IM A STRANGER HERE MYSELF from ONE TOUCH OF VENUS for WIND SEXTET - One Touch of Venus is a musical comedy, with music by Kurt Weill, lyrics by Ogden Nash and book by S. J. Perelman and Nash, and is based on the 1885 novella The Tinted Venus by English author Thomas Anstey Guthrie. The song Im a Stranger Here Myself is sung by the goddess Venus (a statue who has come to life), in which she attempts to understand why Rodney (a New York City barber with whom shes fallen in love) resists her advances. This arrangement is for wind sextet (flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon and 2 horns). The set comprises full score and parts. Difficulty level : Intermediate.
