The anthem is most often heard in the cinemas, where it often precedes the main feature. Several slightly different arrangements of the anthem are in regular use. When the anthem is played, the audience stands in respectful silence. This is a beautiful and compelling arrangement for string orchestra by Colin Kirkpatrick, containing a two-page score, and single-page parts for first violins, second violins, violas, cellos and double basses.
