This is an essential collection of twenty-two favorite Easter hymns arranged brass quartet, brass quintet or small brass ensemble. The publication consists of full scores for each hymn plus parts for 1st trumpet in B flat, 2nd trumpet in B flat, horn in F (or E flat), trombone and tuba. The tuba part is optional because it either doubles the trombone part or plays an octave below. Both parts appear on a single staff in the bass clef. Theres a piano part too, so you can also use the arrangements as solos, duets or trios. All the parts are contained in a single 91-page PDF file. They are intended either as stand-alone pieces that could be used as interludes in an Easter service, or they could be used to accompany solo, choral or congregational singing. The music has been set in brass-friendly keys so they are not compatible with the string collection of the same name. Parts are provided for both E flat and F horns The piano part has been written for with the early intermediate pianist in mind, though some hymns are actually quite easy.

The tempo markings are suggestions only, because the tempo will be influenced by the size of the audience or congregation, the acoustics of the venue and the playing skills of the instrumentalists. The audio samples include Amazing Grace, Were you There? and O Sacred Head Now Wounded.
