"Hallelujah" is by Leonard Cohen, and has been widely used in both secular and sacred settings. It was also featured in the film Shrek in 2001.
This arrangement is for String Quartet, with a joyful, flowing movement. As with most Zene Strings arrangements, each part has an opportunity to play melody and shine. There is a lovely pizzicato section that accompanies the cello solo that is a high-point, which is followed by a joyful tutti section that brings the piece to a close.
