This arrangement for 4 cellos is instantly recognisable as Viva La Vida from the opening string riff. I have tried to vary the texture as much as possible so that nobody has to play too much ostinato, and everybody gets a bit of the melody at some point. A really popular choice for weddings and functions - this one is definitely a gig pad staple!

Cello 1 is mostly in tenor clef, with a small section of treble clef at the end. Cello 2 (probably the most advanced of the four parts) uses a mixture bass, tenor and treble clef. Cello 3 is in tenor and bass clef and cello 4 is solely in bass clef.
