Thus begins a new arrangement of the Martin Luther hymn "A Mighty Fortress", for SATB choir and Piano. This takes the familiar hymn and adds in sonic surprises at every turn - JUST enough to keep an congregation interested, because the melodies and harmonies are tightly integrated with the text. Works well for Reformation Sunday, or any time this mighty hymn is used. NOTE: The MP3, sadly, is using a synth choir for the vocal parts. Please use your imagination to hear what the piece actually sounds like!
