Product Description

This is a country-style waltz, arranged for choir (SAB) and fiddle, harp and piano, which searches for the true meaning of Christmas. here is the lyric:

Crossed Out of Christmas

A Good Man was framed, on a bare, rocky hill;
it happened somewhere in the distance.
Though He paid a high cost, He was not double-crossed,
till the day He was crossed out of Christmas.

X marks the spot where a word is crossed out;
X marks the strange and suspicious.
X marks a treasure, without any doubt,
since the day Christ was crossed out of Christmas.

The shops and the super-stores tell us the news;
the signs. say that X-mas is here.
And the message is hurled, right around the whole world
but something seems missing this year.

X marks the spot where a word is crossed out;
X marks the strange and suspicious.
X marks a treasure, without any doubt,
since the day Christ was crossed out of Christmas.

I want to re-write, on this parcel tonight,
a word that somehow came adrift.
Christmas! Christmas! Christmas! Lord God!
cos that is the true Christmas gift.

Christmas and X-mas aint one and the same,
and I guess there is only one reason.
So lets do it right, and by starlight tonight,
well unwrap the power of the season.

X marks the spot where a word is crossed out;
X marks the strange and suspicious.
X marks a treasure, without any doubt,
since the day Christ was crossed out of Christmas.
