Product Description

This is a result of the inspiration from M.C. Escher's 1951 work by the same name. The concepts of relatvity, repetition and inter-dimensionality are addressed in a quasi-minimalist style in this famous art work. The interval of thirds creats the image of the wentelteefje (Escher's fictitious creatures) going up and down stairs at all angles. In section F, the wentelteefje curl up and roll away, after their climbing of stairs. Vox 1 & 2 are mirrors of each other and simulate sine waves (red) except for the bridge material before each section. Likewise, for Vox 3 & 4 (blue), mirror and simulate cosine waves. Vox 5& 6 mirror and are my best attempt to simulate tangents. Vox 7 provides a bass and backdrop for the scene.
