Performance notes

A funny song to sing for upcoming young singers and for others. Arranged in the style of Il Divo in their world-famous style combo of opera and pop. A crowd-pleasing piece that lets tenors flirt and act as tenor heroes do best (!)

The overall joy when rehearsing and performing this version is to nurture both the layered massiveness, the James Bond chord alterations and general build up to dooms day in the intro, interlude and instrumental section, and contrast this with the very smooth and tender verses.

Hint: Sit heavily on the notes that hit the main beats (number 1 4 7 10) and try to get the contrast between sections as sharp as possible to emphasize both the extremes: the doomed and the heavenly aspects of the lyrics message: You Are My Destiny!
