In 1987 Freddy Mercury and Monserrat Caballé came together for a spectacular project: they sang a duet, one from the rock genre and the other from the classical genre. The result was the song Barcelona, which was composed especially by Freddy Mercury. It which became a worldwide hit.

Since both famous singers have already passed away, what if they were to meet again to sing another duet? A song about love a strong love that can even overcome death? The right song for this is Who Wants to Live Forever, composed by Brian May for the movie Highlander.

Since both singers liked the big stage and Barcelona was also done with an orchestra, I arranged this duet also for a large orchestra and band. I hope you enjoy the outcome!
