This fun and not too difficult arrangement of Dodge the Dodo incorporates the spunk of reeds (saxophone and bassoon) with the sass of brass (horn, trumpet, trombone and tuba). Originally written for piano, drum kit and double bass, the arrangement begins with the saxophone imitating the driving rhythm of the drum kit with key clicks. The main melody is shared amongst different pairings of the instruments throughout. The middle section's polyphonic-like texture moves the piece towards the climax where all the instruments sonorously come together to bring the piece to a close.
