Product Description

Cole Porter wrote "Bridget" in 1910. "Bridget" was his first published song, written while a student at Yale. It is a piece much more typical of the Tin Pan Alley tunes of the late 19th and early 20th century than of Porter's later work. The melodies, while charming, are very simple. The harmonies are also very straightforward. Yet in spite of the song's limitations, it is a charming piece of music. Our arrangement spreads lead responsibilities throughout both trumpets, French horn, and trombone parts. Arranged for brass quintet (two Bb trumpets, French horn, trombone, tuba) and optional drum set. Contact us at https://www.tootsuitebrasspublishing.com/about-us about the availability of additional transpositions. Performance time is approximately 1:58. Visit our website, www.tootsuitebrasspublishing.com, for a catalog of our arrangements available through sheetmusicplus.com.
