Product Description

This version of Thelonius Monk's "Blue Monk" is based an arrangement by Kai Winding, as performend by the trombone duo of "Kai and J.J. (Johnson)". I've written it for 8-part Trombone ensemble with rhythm. It's essentially a duet with accompaniment. although the duet parts get passed around the ensemble. There are extended blues solos (in the key of G) for two of the players, although this could be opened up for more solos.
