Tom - The Ginger Pimpernel is a saxophone quartet (SATB) from The Cat Suite, original compositions by Christopher Frost depicting past and present family cats. Tom is an audacious ginger cat, sneaking in to steal food from right under the noses of Aramis, Raphael and Claudia, who are some of the other cats depicted in The Cat Suite. Once rumbled he will coyly retreat before returning for his most audacious raid yet, when it's least expected, and then proceed to swagger off, belly full.

It can be performed as a solo piece or as part of the suite in any order.
