Product Description

Medley from the hit Netflix dystopian K-Drama series, Squid Game; including Way Back Then (by Jea Il Jung), Pink Soldiers (by Sungsoo Kim) and The Blue Danube (by Johann Strauss II), arranged for String Quartet by Aaron Bennett.

Originally released in 2021, Squid Game became Netflix's most watched series and went on to receive multiple prizes, including Primetime Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe.

This arrangement starts with the main theme, Way Back Then, based on a traditional Korean children's song which incorporates the repeating 3-3-7 clapping rhythm heard throughout. This is followed by the haunting Pink Soldiers theme, inspired by a 13th century Gregorian chant called Dies Irae (mass for the dead). It concludes with an excerpt from the infamous Blue Danube Waltz by Johann Strauss II, used to rally the players before the start of each game.

Features musical interest for every player with helpful bowing and cues added into the parts for easier sight-reading. A must-have for any Film/TV theme fans!
