The classical and be much relished hymn This is my Father's World was written by Maltbie Davenport Babcock. It was originally written as a poem containing sixteen verses of four lines each. Franklin L. Sheppard set the poem to music in 1915 and selected three verses for the final hymn.

In this piano arrangement also contains three parts. The first part is arranged by Daniel Chen (from IG), a Taiwan pianist. I saw his performance on IG by chance, and I was so touched. Sadly he only shared the first section of the song on the internet, so I complete the song by adding up the remaining two verses. (with his consent).

The second part is the development of Daniels work. I tried to make it sound different by alternate chords and patterns.

The third part sounds in great contrast to the first two parts as the style changed to slow rock from soft jazz. It is then end up in a joyful and energetic ending.
