Product Description

"Full Moon and Empty Arms" is a 1945 popular song by Buddy Kaye and Ted Mossman, based on Sergei Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2. The best-known recording of the song was made by Frank Sinatra in 1945 and reached No. 17 in the Billboard charts. A version by Ray Noble & His Orchestra (vocal by Snooky Lanson) also charted, reaching the No. 18 position briefly. Other artists who have recorded versions include: Nelson Eddy, Sarah Vaughan, Bob Dylan and The Platters. This arrangement for concert band and solo piano has been made from the version recorded by Monte Carlo Light Symphony Orchestra, including snatches of the original Rachmaninoff and a gentle swing section to make it a standout choice for your next concert.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
