Looking for a way to feature your recorder class with your beginning band? This arrangement is a great way to do it. It starts off with just the recorders playing the melody. Then the band joins in with chords underneath recorder melody with the trumpets joining the melody and the flutes having an obligato part. Then we change to 3/4 time with the woodwinds joining the recorders with the melody and the brass having an oom pah part. Finally the percussion are featured with a syncopated beat with the trumpets and flute playing a syncopated melody, the bass ports playing whole notes and the rest join the recorders in accented chords.
