Product Description

I called this one 'From Peasholm With Piano' as sort of a homage to the old Bond film 'From Russia With Love'. No similarities in style to the Lionel Bart composition sung with the golden voice of Matt Monro and arranged by the incredible John Barry - I just stole the 'From' and the 'With' for the title! Peasholm Park is a lovely park in Scarborough, Yorkshire, UK. It has a Far East theme and is a great place to walk or sit and watch the world go by.
This is my own composition. It's in my trademark style of slightly ragtime, slightly stride piano and bit of something of my own. It's a fun tune in a swing style designed to make you smile and tap your toes. I take it through the keys of C, D and Eb major.
I don't include dynamics, pedal markings or fingerings preferring to leave these up to the discretion of the individual pianist as no two piano teachers ever agree on such things.
If the 10th intervals in the left hand are too much for smaller hands then they can be rolled or replaced with octaves or even single bass notes.
I hope you enjoy learning it as much as I have enjoyed writing it.
