Pubblicati entrambi nel 1688 da André Raison, organista dell'Abbazia Reale di Sainte Geneviève du Mont (oggi Saint-Étienne-du-Mont) a Parigi. André Raison fu uno tra i più importanti organisti francesi tra '6 e '700; le sue composizioni e soprattuto le introduzioni ad esse hanno permesso di studiare approfonditamente la prassi esecutiva organistica di quei decenni.

Two "Kyries" (actually, Kyrie on the first tone and Fugue from Kyrie on the second tone) by André Raison, who was organist at S.Geneviève du Mont in Paris (nowadays Saint-Etienne-Du-Mont) between the 17th and the beginning of the 18th centuries. His compositions, and particularly their introductions helped understand the French Organ praxis in that time.
