Product Description

INSTRUMENTATION: 2 VIOLINS & CELLO
Originally released in 2001 by Sophie Ellis-Bextor, "Murder On The Dancefloor" was the British singer-songwriter's biggest single and one of the songs that catapulted her to stardom as a solo artist. The groovy disco-pop anthem quickly topped the charts worldwide upon its release, and became the most-played song in Europe in 2002; it then made a massive resurgence in 2024 after being featured in the film Saltburn and trending on TikTok. So this one will definitely be a hit with your audience! This Cellobat arrangement for your two-violin and cello string trio features the upbeat disco vibes, soaring melodies, and danceable groove of the original for a chart that will be just as much fun to play as it is to listen to. Rated advanced-intermediate for some tricky syncopated rhythms throughout; this will be learnable for more advanced students and sightreadable for professionals.
