This patriotic American tune seems to have disappeared from the church hymnals and community singing collections that were so plentiful in the 1950's. It was sung in church, Boy Scouts of America meetings, Lion's Clubs meeting etc., and even as a "second number" at sporting events after the Star-Spangled Banner. But today, there's no mention of it anywhere online or in the media. The arranger constructed this piano piece from memory after having sung it for so many years as a child and was able to find the composer on a church bulleting from 1953.
