The Christian hymn "Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing" was written in 1758 by British Baptist pastor Robert Robinson who was 22 years old at the time. It tells a very personal story of redemption and grace. The hymn was first published in 1759 in A Collection of Hymns for the Use of the Church of Christ, Meeting in Angel-Alley, Whitechapel. Over the years, it has been embraced by numerous denominations because it touches on common Christian themes of the hope of divine grace despite the frailties of humanity.

This arrangement is based on the traditional "Nettleton" melody by John Wyeth that is most often associated with the hymn. The arrangement was premiered in the summer of 2024 by the Nauvoo Brass Band in Nauvoo, Illinois. It is characterized by striking harmonies and warm brass chorale-style writing decorated by expressive woodwind runs.
