Eduard Strauss composed his Quick Polka Ohne Aufenthalt (Without a Stay) in 1874 for the Austrian railworkers' ball in the Vienna Sofienbad Hall. The arrangement is one half tone higher than the original key of the composition for symphony orchestra and was commissioned and first time performed by Salzburg Wind Philharmonic conducted by Hansjoerg Angerer at their "Three Kings' Concert" on 6 January 2025 at the "Grosses Festspielhaus" (Large Festival Hall) in Salzburg, Austria.
