Product Description

Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy wrote his Second Concert Piece in D minor op. 114 for Clarinet and Basset Horn and Piano in 1833, after his First Concertpiece for the Munich clarinettists Heinrich Joseph and Carl Baermann had become a great success. Carl Baermann orchestrated the piece. The arrangement was written in 2014 to be performed by the Municipal Band of Zirl, Austria in November 2014 and again performed by the academists of Wind Philharmonic Mozarteum Salzburg in October 2016, both times conducted by Albert Schwarzmann. He made no use of the provided "ad libitum" brass parts.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
