As a director of a 5th and 6th grade A Cappella group, it is often difficult for me to find arrangements of songs that are age appropriate, as well as easy enough for a beginner-level singing group. My arrangement of "Turn Up the Music" from Disney's cult hit Lemonade Mouth is very simple, features a soloist on the verses and three part harmony on the chorus, has a moment of unison to throw young singers a lifeline towards the end of the piece, and contains empowering and uplifting lyrics for todays youth.
