Product Description

In 2025, the Childrens Museum of Indianapolis will celebrate its centennial anniversary. Seymour Looks In is named after the brachiosaur statue that appears at the entrance to the museum. Each variation in this piece is dedicated to an exhibit on the grounds of the museum.

Fireworks of Glass depicts the incredible Dale Chihuly sculpture that welcomes visitors to the museum. This multi-colored behemoth of shaped glass is the artists second largest permanent installation.

The Seven Wonders of the World Garden is a beautiful, flowering garden outside of the museum entrance, featuring (extremely) miniature reproductions of the famed Seven Wonders.

Broad Ripple Park Carousel depicts the restored, antique carousel that has been part of Indianapolis history for longer than the museum has existed. Originally installed in the 1910s, the carousel was shut down and put into storage until its re-installation in the museum in 1973.

The Power of Children depicts the very moving exhibit, The Power of Children: Making a Difference. This exhibit shows how even a small child can change the world, complete with exhibits on Ryan White, Ruby Bridges and Malala Yousafzai.

The piece ends with Dinosphere, the all-inclusive dome filled with wonders of the prehistoric world.
