Product Description

UNCHAINED MELODY- for Jazz Ensemble/Big Band. "Unchained Melody" is one of the most iconic and enduring love songs of the 20th century. It was written in 1955 by composer Alex North and lyricist Hy Zaret. The most famous version is by The Righteous Brothers, released in 1965, and sung by Bobby Hatfield. It experienced a massive resurgence in popularity when it was featured in the 1990 film Ghost. This arrangement uses an easy funk groove featuring a small ensemble of Trumpet, Alto, Tenor and Trombone in contrast to the full band. A Trombone or Guitar solo is featured, but it is primarily an ensemble piece. Lead Trumpet up to C6 (opt. D6). Intermediate level.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
