Product Description

The Old Christian hymn, "O Come, O Come Emmanuel" (Latin: "Veni, Veni Emmanuel") is usually sung at Christmas and Advent. The approximate time of origin was around the 8th Century, maybe 9th. Mr. Robinson arranged it with the opening melody performed by the cello section to set a solemn atmosphere as if a male choir was singing it. The other instruments join in on the melody the second time around. It is very traditional, yet has some beautiful transitions and a key change.
