This Early Elementary Piano Solo in 4/4 meter is in Middle C Position. It begins with an easy triumphant Intro (mm. 1-4) leading to an easy melody in the "A" section. It is designed for students who are not playing hands together yet, and thus, the piece focuses on one note at a time throughout, except for the 2-black key patterns (C#-D#) in the "B" section. To give Early Elementary students the feeling of playing outside of Middle C Position, the composer gives an opportunity to move 8vb, 8va, and 15ma when Gracie "runs" and "slides."
