The Round Robin Project is a collaborative composing project for the students of my piano studio.

Each student received a piece of blank staff paper and was asked to compose two measures of a melody. The staff paper was then passed along to a second student who added two more measures, and so on. After the melodies were complete, older students arranged and harmonized the music and younger students illustrated it.
