Derek Hasted writes "Theres something instantly captivating about this uplifting melody, and if played near the end of a concert, this will be the ear-worm piece that annoys the audience all the way home!

My arrangement for string quartet is in the same key as the original and it fits neatly in a very playable range of each instrument. The majority of the subtle embellishments in the melody and rhythm in successive verses is captured in Violin 1, and many of the instrumental motifs are here in the arrangement too.

It makes for a very pleasing and very accessible piece for a string ensemble, and at the marked metronome speed it runs for a little over 4½ minutes.

Some of the part scores are three pages, but a few pieces of sticky tape will mean that the part will fit on a normal music stand quite safely.

Simple dynamic markings are included to help you make the most of some echo effects and the
build to the choruses.
