This is an orchestrated arrangement of Frank Bridges full piano sonata. Since the original work was dedicated to Ernest Farrar who died during the First World War, the arrangement was titled WW with a number for each movement. The original framework was more or less preserved despite some changes in the harmonic landscape, as much for arrangement purposes as for the needs of orchestration.
